Dallas High School's non-contact football camp starts Aug. 13; three-on-three basketball at Central on Aug. 7.

Dallas High School is sponsoring a non-contact football camp Aug. 13-17 for all players entering grades 5-12 this school year

. Players in grades 9-12 will work out from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. and players in grades 5-8 will practice from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Proper fundamentals and the basics of offense and defense will be stressed. Dallas coaches from all levels will provide instruction. The registration fee is $40 per player, with a $5 late fee after Aug. 10. Each camper will receive a hat and T-shirt and there will be daily prizes awarded. Application forms require proof of insurance and the signature of a parent or guardian. Forms are available at Dallas High School, 1250 SE Holman Ave., or the Kids, Inc., office, 187 SW Court St. Forms also can be picked up Aug. 13 at 2 p.m. or 5 p.m. at the Dallas practice field. The Three-on-Three Outdoor Basketball Tournament will be played Aug. 7 in the Central High School parking lot

. There are three age divisions: 10-13, 14-17 and 18-and-older. The entry fee is $10 per team. Teams are allowed to have up to four players. Games will consist of two 15-minute periods. Dallas Volleyball Camp will be held Aug. 13-16 from 9 a.m.-noon daily

. The camp is for players entering ninth-12 grades this school year, and the cost is $40 per person. Checks made payable to Dallas High School can be mailed to the school at Volleyball Camp, 1250 SE Holman Ave., Dallas, Or., 97338. Payment also can be made on the first day of the camp. The Seventh Annual Panther Soccer Camp will be held Aug. 13-17 at Talmadge Middle School

The Salem Soccer Referees Association will hold an organizational meeting at 6 p.m. July 25 at the Salem Senior Center, 1055 NE Erixon Dr

Wildcat Hoop Camp will be held on Aug. 6-10.

The Ninth Annual Dallas Quarterback Club Golf Tournament will be played Sept 16. at Dallas Golf Club

. The tournament is a four-person scramble, and the entry fee is $75 per person. Play will begin with an 8 a.m. shotgun start, and the field is limited to the first 13 paid teams. July 23 will be Dallas Night at Volcanoes Stadium in Keizer.
