Shettery gets appendix out

He's doing fine but missed Revenue meeting

DALLAS -- State Rep. Lane Shetterly got his appendix out Jan. 10 following an attack of appendicitis.

He attack hit him in the morning. He went to Salem Hopistal and his appendix was out by late afternoon.

His wife, Francine, said he is doing well.

He missed a day-long meeting the House Revenue Committee he chairs. Gov. John Kitzhaber was there to criticize some revenue-raising proposals.

Francine said Lane was sorry to miss the action.
