DALLAS -- The 45th annual community reunion known as Breakfast in the Park is drawing near, said Mike Bollman, chairman of the event for Dallas Rotary.
The 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. breakfast will be at Dallas City Park Sunday, Aug. 1.
"We're offering a $1 off all adult tickets sold in advance of the date," Bollman said.
That brings an adult breakfast of pancakes, eggs, ham, juice, coffee and milk to $5. Children from 4 to 12 years can be fed for $2 and those under three are free, he adds. Adult tickets are $6 on Aug. 1.
Tickets may be purchased in advance at Dallas Area Chamber of Commerce, Dallas Select Market, Itemizer-Observer, Citizens Bank and from any Rotary member.
All proceeds from this annual event assist the Rotary Club in its community service projects.
The Tom Newton Antique and Classic Auto Show is expected to be the largest ever with a wide variety of vehicles to attract attention from breakfast-goers.
