Barb Gibson (middle) won the Dallas Post Office jelly bean contest last week, an event that celebrated the Postal Service's release of commemorative stamps honoring former President (and jelly bean lover) Ronald Reagan. With Gibson are Dallas Postmaster Morrie Bart and Dallas Mayor Jim Fairchild. Gibson guessed 1,423 jelly beans were in the jar -- amazingly, just four over the actual amount of 1,419. For being closest, Gibson received a first-day cover of the new commemorative stamps, an Uncle Sam Teddy Bear -- and the jar of jelly beans.
