DALLAS -- Dallas' Chelsea Wiens and Nate Anderson turned in personal-best times in the Salem Invitational on Sept. 17.
Wiens was in the lead pack for the entire race and finished 10th in 19:52. Anderson finished in a time of 19:29.
Dallas also ran in a Pac-9 Conference dual meet with Tigard and Newberg on Sept. 21 at Tigard.
Anderson set another PR and finished 15th overall in 18:58. The Dragons' Brian Woitte ran a 19:17, finishing 18th.
On the girls side, Wiens was second overall in 19:49, another PR.
Dallas' Kendra Fresh ran a 24:15 and finished 13th, and Amanda Bruesch was 18th in 25:04.
"We are making great progress and improving a lot," Dallas coach Monique Lankheet said. "It's entirely because the kids have committed to hard work. That is the difference."
