At the morning worship service July 16 in Pedee Church Park, Pastor Lonnie Burbank accompanied the chorus singing on his guitar. My 91st birthday on July 14 was remembered by the singing of "Happy Birthday."
The pastor's message was from Isaiah 55. He also shared thoughts he had gained during times he spent cleaning and working in the park.
Among visitors were Damian and Krisanna Owen of Bandon. Their baby, Rilee Jo, born May 31, got a lot of attention but slept most of the time.
Chuck and Gail Goetzinger and son, Aaron, came in their motor home and spent the night in the park.
A hot dog picnic dinner following the service was enjoyed by all. Several brought tables and chairs to share. Gene Hall entertained with guitar music.
