Perrydale rolls past Falls City

The Pirates score 52- first-quarter points against the Mountaineers.

PERRYDALE -- Perrydale's football team scored 52 first-quarter points Oct. 20 and rolled to a 74-8 win against an injury-plagued Falls City team.

Steven Casalegno opened the scoring for the Pirates on a 19-yard run. He later scored on a 58-yard scamper and finished with 90 yards on three attempts.

Isaac Prince completed three of four passes with each completion going for a touchdown -- one yard to Mitch McKee, 25 yards to Isaac Buhler and two yards to Casey Rich.

Other Perrydale touchdowns were scored by Koby Hutchinson, Nick Huggins, Adam Fults, Josh Paschke and Cody Comerford.

Perrydale (6-12 overall, 3-0 Casco Conference) now is tied with St. Paul (7-0, 3-0) for the league lead. The Pirates will host Country Christian (4-1, 2-1) Friday, Oct. 28 before finishing the regular season at St. Paul.

Falls City's touchdown against Perrydale came on a 15-yard run by David Graham. He finished with 57 yards on 18 attempts.
