DALLAS -- The Dallas FFA chapter announced that 34 members have earned greenhand, chapter and state degrees.
The greenhand degree is given to first-year members who have learned the FFA's creed and mission statement and have demonstrated a knowledge of the organization's historical and procedural information.
Greenhand winners for 2007 are: Audrey Agee, Karen Agee, Nate Anderson, Haden Burbank, Anna Burgess, Ethan Burgess, Priscilla Harlow, David Marienau, Austin Markee, Maeann McGuire, Brad Mosey, Glen Nicol, Eric Noll, Kelsey Omnes, Michelle Pederson, Clinton Stamy, Dylan Stoller, Brett Stockdall and Hung Tran.
Chapter degrees are the next step up and require that an FFA student have the greenhand degree, take agricultural classes and participate in chapter activities, show leadership skills and commit to agriculture outside of school.
