Academic Honors

Sarah E. Gallup of Dallas, a master of arts student in English (rhetoric and writing) at Oregon State University, has received a 2008-09 U.S. Student Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Award to France. Students use their awards to study and conduct research abroad. These merit-based fellowships are awarded annually to recent bachelor's graduates, master and doctoral students, young professionals, and artists. Gallup is one of six OSU students to receive a Fulbright award this year, a school record.
