, was sentenced May 28 to 30 days in Polk County Jail. Samson was convicted by a jury May 22 for resisting arrest, interfering with a police officer and harassment.

Marc Florentio Rosas,

, Independence, pled guilty May 29 to driving under the influence and was sentenced to probation.

Harold Martin Chevrier, 51, Philomath, was convicted by a jury May 29 of driving under the influence of intoxicants and sentenced to 15 months probation and a $1,000 fine.

Jay S. Huston, 45, Monmouth, pled no contest May 30 to domestic violence assault and was placed on supervised probation for 18 months, ordered to serve 20 days in jail, and ordered to complete alcohol and domestic violence intervention treatment.

Austin E. Garner, 28, Dallas, pled guilty May 30 to interfering with a police officer. He was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, four days in jail, alcohol treatment, 80 hours community service, and $25 restitution for a taser cartridge.
