Anytime Fitness of Dallas recently added the "Koko Smart Trainer" to its line of equipment. Users insert a key into any of the "all-in-one" smart trainers, which then become a 30-minute personal trainer, directing users on what exercise to do, at what weight and in what order. Juliette's House Child Abuse Assessment Center has received a $66,000 general support grant from the Juliette D. and Paul A. Barber Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation. The grant will assist the McMinnville-based Juliette's House in continuing to provide assessment, treatment and support services to abused and neglected children and their families in Polk and Yamhill counties.

Sheryl Powell, a registered nurse for First Call Home Health Care of Polk and Marion counties, recently completed requirements for the certificate for OASIS Specialist-Clinical for home care clinicians.
