Dallas drops two league matches

The volleyball team slips to a sixth-place tie in the MWC.

DALLAS -- Dallas' volleyball team dropped a notch or two in the Mid-Willamette Conference race last week with losses to South Albany and Lebanon.

The Lady Dragons fell 25-14, 25-9, 25-17 Sept. 23 at home against South Albany and 25-17, 19-25, 25-16, 25-22 Sept. 25 at Lebanon.

Dallas dropped to 2-4 in Mid-Willamette Conference play and is tied for sixth in the league with Lebanon.

Lexi Pola led the Lady Dragons against Lebanon with 15 kills. Hannah Frederick had 12 digs, and Katelynn Reimer handed out 16 assists. Sophie Stewart had a pair of service aces.

The Lady Dragons will start the second half of league play Thursday, Oct. 2 with a 6 p.m. home match against Crescent Valley.
