*Credit union honored*Cafe has new hours*MaPS DEO to retire*Marquis debuts new web site

Credit union honored

-- OSU Federal Credit Union has been selected the national Community Credit Union of the Year by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).

The award recognizes a community credit union that best exemplifies the principles of the credit union movement while serving as a positive influence in its field of service.

OSU Federal, which has more than 57,000 members in a five-county service area, has branches located in Dallas and Monmouth.


Cafe has new hours

-- New business hours will be in effect beginning Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Marty and Michelle's Cafe in Dallas. The restaurant will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The cafe is located at 289 E. Ellendale Ave. For more information: 503-831-1025.


MaPS CEO to retire

-- Dan Penn has announced that he will retire as president and CEO of MaPS Credit Union effective at the end of 2008. He will be replaced by Mark Zook, who currently serves as COO of MaPS Credit Union and CEO of MaPS Service Agency. MaPS Credit Union has Polk County branch locations in Monmouth and West Salem.


Marquis debuts new web site

-- Portable hot tub manufacturer Marquis Spas of Independence has unveiled a redesigned consumer web site, www.marquisspas.com. Among the site's highlights is a sneak peak at Marquis Spas' 2009 product line.
