Dallas High School Equestrian Team's Gaming Playday Series concludes Aug. 29 at the Polk County Fairgrounds

Central High School will host a noncontact football camp Aug. 17-21

. Grades 3-8 will meet from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on Aug. 17-20. Grades 9-12 will meet from 3:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Aug. 17-21. The cost for each camp is $10. Registration will begin one hour prior to the start of each camp on the football field. For more information: 503-606-2228.

Kings Valley Charter School's Second Annual Basketball Camp will be held Aug. 10-14

♦ The Fourth Annual Central Wrestling Golf Tournament will be played Aug. 21 at Oak Knoll Golf Course. The nine-hole, four-man scramble will begin with a 5 p.m. shotgun start. Tryouts for the Central 12-under spring/summer softball team will be held Aug. 11 and 15

. On Aug. 11, pitchers and catchers will meet from 5 p.m.-5:45 p.m. with all players meeting from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. On Aug. 15, pitchers and catchers meet from 9-9:45 a.m. with all players meeting from 10 a.m.-noon. Registration starts 20 minutes prior to each session. A parent must be in attendance to fill out the registration form and liability release. The Fifth Annual Willamette Valley Golf Tournament will be played Aug. 13 at Cross Creek Golf Course

The Luckiamute Watershed Council is hosting its annual fundraising event Sept. 19 in and around Helmick State Park

. The event includes a barbecue, music, an auction and a bicycle ride of two 20-mile loops in the surrounding countryside. Registration for the bicycle ride is from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. at the park.
