WEST SALEM -- The FBI and Salem Police are asking for help in locating a man responsible for a bank robbery at the West Salem branch of Key Bank on Feb. 11.
According to a news release from the FBI, a man entered the bank at 1500 Edgewater St. NW at about 1:35 p.m., approached a teller and demanded cash. He left the bank on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his late 20s, 5-feet-10-inches to 6-feet tall, with dark brown or black hair. He was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, dark baggy pants and bicycle gloves at the time of the robbery. He was also wearing black-rimmed glasses with clear lenses and a black knit hat with strings hanging down.
