Mini-Marathon correction -- Raul Pena finishes 30th.

Dallas High School Equestrian Team's Gaming Playday Series concludes Aug. 29 at the Polk County Fairgrounds

. Sign-up is from 7 a.m.-7:30 a.m. Gaming begins at 8 a.m. There are seven different age groups and nine different events. Dallas Dragon Youth Football Camp will be held Aug. 10-13 at Dallas High School

Because of a transmission problem, Raul Pena was misidentified in the results of the 37th Annual Mini-Marathon

. Pena finished 30th among the men's finishers with a time of 18:22. The I-O regrets the error.

Kings Valley Charter School's Second Annual Basketball Camp will be held Aug. 10-14

Oregon Family Health in Dallas, 201 SE Washington St., is offering sports physicals for athletes in grades 7-12

. Physicals will be given from 8 a.m.-noon Aug. 1. The cost is $25. Proceeds will go to the Dallas Booster Club. Physicals are required for those entering grades 7, 9 and 11 or those without a physical in the past year.

The Fifth Annual Willamette Valley Golf Tournament will be played Aug. 13 at Cross Creek Golf Course

Wildcat Hoop Camp is coming soon at Whitworth Elementary

. Girls in grades 4-8 will meet from July 27-30. Boys and girls in grades K-3 and boys in grades 4-8 will meet from Aug. 3-6. The cost is $50 for each session and includes a T-shirt.
