Carrie Lee Larson of Keizer and Morgan Allen Canon of Keizer were married June 27 at The Reese House in Salem.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Sharon Larson of Monmouth. The groom is the son of Lois Canon of Salem and Kenneth Canon of Keizer.

Roger Arnold officiated the ceremony.

Bridesmaids were Barbara Larson, Monica Olin and Elissa Tungate.

Groomsmen were Rick Kokle, Cameron Atchely and Christian Carnes.

Cynthia Canon was the ring bearer.

Carrie, a 1993 graduate of Central High School in Independence, graduated in 2003 from Chemeketa Community College in Salem with an associate degree in early childhood education. She is employed by Senior Helpers of Salem as a caregiver.

Morgan, a 1988 graduate of McNary High School in Keizer, graduated in 2009 from Chemeketa Community College with an associate degree in pharmacy technology. He is a pharmacy technician at The Pill Box in Lebanon.

The couple, which plans to honeymoon next summer at Yellowstone National Park, currently makes its home in Keizer.


Melissa Ann Morse of Dallas and Shane Patrick Loflin of Dallas were married Aug. 8 at Dallas First Christian Church.

The bride is the daughter of John and Teri Morse of Portland. The groom is the son of Jerry and Michelle Loflin of Dallas.

Pastor Paul Johnson officiated the ceremony.

Maid of honor was Kimberly Morse. Bridesmaids were Megan Miller and Samira Loflin.

Best man was Chris McMillian. Groomsmen were Kasey Loflin and Tasha Schellenburg.

Melissa, a 2002 graduate of Parkrose High School in Portland and 2008 graduate of Western Oregon University in Monmouth, is a substitute teacher and a waitress in Dallas.

Shane, a 2004 graduate of Dallas High School and 2006 graduate of California Culinary Academy, is a chef in Dallas.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii. They make their home in Dallas.
