Reindl -- 65th

Bob and Willie Reindl of Dallas will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Sunday, April 18. The couple's children will host a 10 a.m. honorary coffee hour for friends and family following the 9 a.m. service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dallas.

Bob and Willie were married April 15, 1945, in Florence.

They have resided in Polk County for 16 years, having previously lived in Florence and Hebo.

Bob retired in 1984 from the U.S. Forest Service's timber and fire management in Hebo. Willie continues being a homemaker.

The Reindl's were involved with community and youth activities for many years.

They are members of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoy fishing, going to the mountains, playing cards, and visiting family and friends.

Bob is active with Stevens Ministries. He enjoys making hiking and walking sticks for family and friends out of a variety of woods that he personally collects.

The couple's family includes Kim and Susann Ecklund of Eagle, Idaho; Phil and Janet Reindl of Columbia Falls, Mont.; Mike and Heidi Harper of Nebraska; Andy Reindl of South Dakota; and the late Melvin Reindl. They have two grandchildren.

Fitch -- 30th

Chuck and Veryl Fitch of Dallas celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on April 5.

They were married in 1980 in Albany and settled in Dallas.

Chuck is retired vice president of operations for ARINC, a worldwide communications company serving all modes of transportation headquartered in Maryland. Veryl retired from teaching.

Chuck and Veryl were avid golfers until recently. They enjoyed years of traveling throughout the United States and abroad.

Chuck was a private pilot, who also loved to fish and hunt. Veryl is a bridge Gold Life Master.

The couple enjoys keeping in touch with their many offspring and a multitude of friends via e-mail. They love their life in Dallas, enjoy eating out, and treasure the many friends they have made since settling in Polk County.

Their family includes Dave and Linda, Mike and Jackie, Richard and Lynn, Robert, Mark and Alison, and Brian and Stacy. They have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
