Western Oregon hosts softball camps.


The Dallas United Black Flames finished their recent season 7-1-1 and also beat Estacada on penalty kicks to win the Kohl Cup Tournament.

The Dallas High School baseball team is selling Sunkist oranges and grapefruit for the 12th straight year

Western Oregon has scheduled a series of three youth softball camps

. The camps are for players ages 7-18. Western coaches and players will instruct. A catcher's camp will be held Jan. 16 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and costs $85. A pitcher's camp will be held Jan. 22 and the cost is $35. Ages 7-12 will meet from 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. Ages 13-15 will meet from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Ages 16-18 will meet from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. A position play and hitting camp will be held Jan. 24 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and costs $50. The Dallas Softball Association is seeking players interested in joining its 14-&-under, 16-&-under teams and 18-&-under teams

The Dallas Quarterback Club is selling Christmas tree certificates to the Eola Hills Christmas tree farm
