POLK COUNTY -- The Polk County Livestock Association will hold its annual meeting Saturday, Jan. 16, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Hong Kong Restaurant, 325 Main St., Dallas.
RSVP is needed by Monday, Jan. 11.
Guest speaker is Dr. Aurora Villarroel, Oregon State University Extension Service Veterinarian. The 4-H Poultry Judging Team will report on its trip to the national judging contest in Louisville, Ky., a short business meeting will be held and the election of officers also is on the agenda.
Cost for the buffet dinner is $14 per person. Annual family dues are $13.
The Polk County Livestock Association conducts the market livestock classes and auction at the Polk County Fair and sponsors livestock education programs in the county.
