The Summerfest Fun Run will be held July 31.
There is a 5K race for adults and a half-mile Fun Run for kids. The entry fees are $15 for the 5K ($10 for students) and $5 for the Fun Run. The Dallas Quarterback Club will hold its first Dragon Women's Football Clinic Aug. 14 at Dallas High School

The Dallas Booster Club is offering sports physicals for middle school and high school athletes
. The physicals will be held Aug. 7 from 8 a.m.-noon at 201 SE Washington St. The fee is $25, which will be donated to the Booster Club. Local physicians and therapists are donating their services. Anyone participating in a school sport, starting in the sixth grade, needs a sports physical at least once every two years.
The 17th Annual Dallas Quarterback Club Scramble will be played Aug. 21 at Dallas Golf Club
. The entry fee for the four-person scramble is $55 per player and includes green fee, lunch, starter pack and prizes. Proceeds benefit football programs -- from youth programs to the high school -- in the Dallas area. The tournament has raised more than $104,000 over the years. The field is limited to 14 teams.
