Local Woman Held For Meth Sales

DALLAS -- The Polk Inter-agency Narcotics Team (POINT) arrested a Dallas woman Tuesday, June 1, on drug charges following a two-month investigation into methamphetamine distribution in the Dallas area

DALLAS -- The Polk Inter-agency Narcotics Team (POINT) arrested a Dallas woman Tuesday, June 1, on drug charges following a two-month investigation into methamphetamine distribution in the Dallas area.

Detectives served search warrants for the Howe Street residence near Dallas High School and vehicle of Lorrie K. Link, 47, finding several baggies containing methamphetamine, pipes, drug records, packaging materials, digital scales, and more than $1,050 in cash.

Link was arrested and taken to the Polk County Jail, where she is being held on three counts each of unlawful possession and delivery of methamphetamine, including unlawful delivery of within 1,000 feet of a school.

Her bail is set at $90,000.
