KINGS VALLEY - The Luckiamute Watershed Council is hosting a tour of recent projects in the Kings Valley and Hoskins area on Saturday, June 26.

The "Three Creeks Tour" will provide participants a look at stream restoration projects. The first is at a site bordering Vincent and Plunkett creeks owned by Michael and Courtney Moore in the Hoskins area. The second is at a site along Maxfield Creek owned by Cliff and Gay Hall in the Kings Valley area.

The tour will also celebrate restoration efforts in the Luckiamute watershed and share area history.

Local landowners can obtain ideas for their own property improvements to protect fish habitat.

The tour begins at the Kings Valley Community Center at 10 a.m. and ends at 2 p.m. Lunch, beverages and transportation to the tour sites is provided from the community center.

Preregistration is required, but the tour is free.
