Annual food drive

under way at DHS

DALLAS -- Dallas High School is holding its annual food drive now through Wednesday, Nov. 24.

The event, which kicked off Monday, Nov. 15, will donate all food collected during this year's drive to Christmas Cheer.

In addition to student collection efforts, donations can be dropped off at the high school, 1250 SE Holman Ave., dallas.

'Picnic' continues

on stage at WOU

MONMOUTH -- Western Oregon University's theater and dance department continues its fall production of "Picnic" Nov. 17-20.

All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and take place in Rice Auditorium on the Western Oregon University campus, 345 N. Monmouth Ave., Monmouth.

Tickets for the production directed by Stefanie Sertich are available at the Rice Auditorium box office. Cost is $7 for students, $10 for seniors and $12 for general admission.

LaCreole selling

holiday wreaths

DALLAS -- LaCreole Middle School's Parent-Teacher Club is selling holiday wreaths all this month, a fundraiser to support educational projects at the school.

Orders will be taken until Tuesday, Nov. 30, with delivery on Thursday, Dec. 2. The cost per wreath is $20.
