DALLAS -- Two people were injured in a two-car collision in the 1800 block of East Ellendale Avenue on the afternoon of Oct. 15.
The incident was a head-on crash involving a Honda Civic sedan and a Chrysler PT Cruiser. Both drivers had to be extricated from their vehicles, said Dallas Fire Department Training Officer Josh Darland.
Emergency workers took one of the drivers to Salem Hospital in an ambulance and the other was flown to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. Darland said both patients would have been considered critical.
East Ellendale was closed for at least two hours while the Oregon State Police investigated the crash, Darland said.
