DALLAS -- A Dallas teen has been charged with several sex abuse crimes, including third-degree rape and second-degree sex abuse, in multiple incidents involving a girl under the age of 16.
Brandon Lee Dwayne Musser, 19, was arrested on March 16 and charged with three counts of third-degree rape, three counts of third-degree sodomy and three counts of second-degree sex abuse.
A probable cause statement prepared by the arresting officer and filed with Polk County Circuit Court said Musser admitted to police to having sexual contact with an underage girl. That was confirmed in an interview with the victim, according to the document.
Musser had been previously convicted of one count of second-degree sex abuse in 2010, also a case involving a girl under the age of 18, and was serving probation at the time he was arrested on the latest charges.
He is in custody at Polk County Jail on $145,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled on Thursday, March 31.
