Airlie Hills Farm Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch

-- Open daily through Monday, Oct. 31. Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., 10775 Airlie Road, Monmouth. Activities and attractions include hay and corn mazes, a hay pyramid, hay rides, farm animals and trike racing. There's also 30 varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squash. Setniker Farms Pumpkin Patch

Open daily through Monday, Oct. 31. Sunday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., 6410 Poplar Lane, Independence. Admission is free, but there are costs for some activities and attractions. Fun stuff includes: A small and large corn maze ($2 and $4, respectively), hay rides ($2), hay pyramids, indoor slides, wheat pit, farm equipment display and gourd sling shots (five gourds for $2). Activities are free for those 2 and under. There's also a haunted corn maze attraction on Friday and Saturday evening. Cost is $7 per person. Concessions are available on the weekend. Dallas Senior Center Music Jam
