College Notebook: Dallas High grads boost Linfield baseball team

The Linfield College baseball team is getting a boost from a trio of Dallas High graduates this season.

Jesse Boustead, Spencer Crepeaux and Casey Cameron are on the Wildcats roster and all have played a role in Linfield's 19-8 start to the 2012 season.

Jesse Boustead

Boustead, a senior outfielder, has played in 22 of Linfield's 27 games. He is batting .326 with five RBI and 12 runs scored. He has also stolen seven of eight bases attempted and ranks fourth on the team in that category.

Crepeaux, a senior right-handed pitcher, has appeared in eight games to date. He has a 1-0 record with a 2.05 earned run average. Opponents are batting .220 against Crepeaux.

Spencer Crepeaux

Cameron, a junior right-handed pitcher, has appeared in seven games this season. He has a 1-2 record with a 4.91 ERA. He has recorded 14 strikeouts in 11 innings of work, and opponents are batting .244 against him.

The sophomore is expected to see lots of work this spring due in part to a number of injuries on the OSU offensive line.
