YOUTH FOOTBALL: Dallas Pop Warner teams wrapping up seasons

Eighth-grade squad set to play in championship game Sunday at Reser Stadium.

DALLAS -- The Dallas Dragons eighth-grade football team defeated the Sprague Olympians 36-0 in Sunday's Mid-Valley Pop Warner playoff semifinals to advance to the championship game, held at 6:45 p.m. Sunday at Oregon State University's Reser Stadium.

Dallas finished its regular season with an unbeaten record at 5-0. The No. 1 seeded Dragons will take on No. 2-seed Lebanon in the title game.

In seventh-grade play, Dallas fell in Sunday's playoff semifinals, 44-12 to Sprague. The Dragons, who finished the regular season 5-0, will face Lebanon in the third-place game Sunday at 8 a.m. at Prothro West, OSU's outdoor practice facility.

The Dallas Pee Wee team finished its regular season at 6-1. The Dragons fell to North Marion 7-0 in Sunday's semifinal and will face Lebanon in the third-place game Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at OSU's Prothro West.
