No garbage pickup

on Thanksgiving

DALLAS -- Republic Services, operators of Allied Waste, reminds Dallas-area customers that there will be no garbage or recycling service on Thanksgiving day.

Service will be one day later than usual for those with regular collection falling on Thanksgiving or the day after Thanksgiving. For example, if your regular service day falls on Thanksgiving, garbage and recycling will be emptied on Friday. If your regular service day is the day after Thanksgiving, garbage and recycling will be picked up on Saturday.

Be sure to put carts out to the curb the night before or early on collection day as drivers may come by earlier than usual.
