Polk County Residents Receive Degrees From Oregon State

CORVALLIS -- A large group of Polk County residents were among the estimated 5,267 students who were scheduled to receive degrees this spring from Oregon State University.OSU held its 144th annual commencement ceremony Saturday at Reser Stadium on campus.This was the largest class to graduate from Oregon State, which has seen record enrollments for several years. Despite the enormous class, OSU students received their actual diploma from OSU President Edward J. Ray and other officials during the ceremony -- one of the few universities of its size to continue that tradition.Earning degrees were: From Dallas: Raymond E.
