DALLAS — Two volleyball camps are scheduled to begin Monday at Dallas High School.
A high school volleyball camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon through Aug. 14. It is designed to prepare high school students for team tryouts by familiarizing them with skills, fundamentals and basic offenses and defenses. Guest coach Chuck Shannon and current DHS coaches will lead the camp. Cost is $45 per participant.
The Dragons Volleyball Youth Camp also runs Monday through Aug. 14 at Dallas High School. It is open to boys and girls entering grades three through eight in the fall.
It is aimed at familiarizing players with the skills, fundamentals and basic offenses and defenses used in the sport. Dallas High coaches and current and former players will help lead the camp. Parents are welcome to watch.
The camp runs from 1 to 3 p.m. each day. Cost is $45 per camper.
