Two Arrested For Dallas Car Break-Ins

DALLAS -- The Dallas Police Department announced Tuesday morning the arrest of two individuals in connection with a series of recent thefts from vehicles in the city.

Arrested were Elieshawa Dozier, 18, and Dylan Jeffus, 18.

Dozier was charged with 18 counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, five counts of third-degree theft, three counts of second-degree theft, one count of first-degree theft (felony) and one count of second-degree burglary.

Dozier is lodged in the Polk County Jail with his bail set at $200,000.

Jeffus was charged with 18 counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, five counts of third-degree theft, three counts of second-degree theft, one count of first-degree theft (felony), one count of second-degree burglary (felony) and one count of resisting arrest.

Jeffus is lodged in the Polk County Jail with his bail set at $207,500.

Lt. Jerry Mott said the Dallas Police Department is continuing to investigate the crimes associated with the pair. The department is thankful for observant community members who called and reported suspicious activity leading to the hastened arrest of the two suspects, he added.
