DALLAS — Monday is the deadline to submit your registration for the 12th annual Polk County OSU Master Gardeners Fall Fling, scheduled Sept. 6 at 9 a.m. at Dallas High School.
The event for gardening enthusiasts includes presentations on a variety of topics, a vendor faire, catered lunch, beverages, snacks, a raffle, silent auction and door prizes.
Cost is $30. A series of afternoon workshops are also available, each carrying an additional fee of $10 to $25.
Speaker topics at this year’s Fall Fling include “misinformation and old wives’ tales regarding Clematis,” “attracting birds, butterflies and winged wonders to your yard,” and “keeping color in your garden all through summer and into autumn.”
