Harry Duane Coulson    Aug. 5, 1942 - May 4, 2014 Harry Duane Coulson    Aug. 5, 1942 - May 4, 2014     Harry Duane Coulson    Harry Duane Coulson, 71, of Grand Ronde died May 4.    He was born in Salem to Maurice and Edna Coulson.    He was raised in the Willamette Valley and went to Cascade High School. After high school Duane joined the Army and was honorably discharged on Jan. 6, 1962.    He was a skilled laborer and held various jobs throughout his work career. His last job before retiring was as a custodian for Willamina School District. Flag    Duane had a daughter and three sons from his first two marriages. Duane met his current wife, Louise in 1989 and they were married on July 30, 1990. Upon marrying Louise, he also gained three daughters and three sons.    Duane liked watching NASCAR and going to the car races in Lebanon. He enjoyed taking trips and going to concerts with his wife. He was also quite fond of reading and could be found with his head buried deep in a good novel. He never met a person he didn't like and it was through his love to talk that he met lots of folks just by striking up a conversation.    He was preceded in death by his son, David.    Survivors include his mother, Edna; wife, Louise; daughter, Vicki Cooper; sons, Brian and Bryant; sister, Francie Olson; stepchildren, Lynelle, Linda, Mark, Todd, Gregg, and Mardell; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.    Service was Monday at the Grand Ronde Cemetery sanctuary followed by interment with military honors.    Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center handled arrangements. Rose 'Dena' Nadine Persons    Aug. 2, 1962 - May 9, 2014 Rose 'Dena' Nadine Persons    Dene Persons, 51, of Dallas died Friday in Dallas.    Dena was a Creswell High School graduate of 1981.    She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rachel Nadine.    Survivors include her husband, Wayne Persons of Dallas; son, Justin Robertson of Southern California; daughters, Tiffany Saxton and Elizabeth Sanders, both of Dallas; parents, Sharon and Lester Martin of Dallas; brothers, Michael Compa of Salem, Daniel Sanders of Eugene, Gene Martin of Dallas and Glen Martin of Creswell; sisters, Mary Smith and Bekki Sipe, both of Dallas; and extended family.
