Tyco building generating interest    DALLAS — The former Tyco building on Monmouth Cutoff Road in Dallas may be generating some attention from possible buyers, according to city officials.    The 131,000-square-foot building is on the market for $1.5 million after a significant investment by the current owner to prepare it for sale, said Dallas City Manager Ron Foggin at Monday’s Dallas City Council meeting.    Foggin said due to the preliminary nature of the possible sale, he couldn’t reveal more details yet.    “They have a potential buyer for the building … fingers crossed,” Foggin said.    Mexican restaurant opens in Dallas    DALLAS — Mexican food chain Muchas Gracias has opened a Dallas location at 365 E. Ellendale Ave.    Offering tacos, giant burritos, enchiladas and other Mexican specialties and meal combinations, the restaurant is open 7 a.m. to midnight seven days per week.    The chain also has locations in Monmouth, Salem and McMinnville.    For more information: 503-831-4748.    Council approves Sweeny’s pub liquor application    DALLAS — The Dallas City Council approved an application for a liquor license and (pending) change of ownership for Sweeny’s Pub & Lotto, 117 E. Ellendale Ave., Dallas, at Monday night's meeting.    The names on the application were Bianca Reller and Todd Keys under the name BT Adventures LLC.
