Hamler-Dupras — Keck

Sara Hamler-Dupras of Sterling, Va., and Andrew Keck of Sterling, Va., were married June 14 at Green Villa Barn in Independence.

Spenser James officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Libby Hamler-Dupras of Dallas. The groom is the son of Thomas and Margaret Keck of Rickreall.

Maid of honor was Kelcie Collins. Bridesmaids were Meghan Keck, Hilary Broadus, Janessa Ellestad, Elly Dickie, Christine Wilson, Bethany DaJarnatt and Victoria Carroll Keck. Flower girls were Charlie Jensen and Laurel Lund.

Best man was Tom Keck. Groomsmen were Ian Keck, Jake Frazier, Michael Fisher, Matt Stefani and Mark Garland. Ushers were Brett Derry, Thomas Richards, Nathan White and Logan Yliniemi. Ring bearer was Max Dupras.

Sara, a 2006 graduate of Dallas High School, graduated in 2010 from the University of Oregon in Eugene with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism. She is pursuing a master’s in professional studies in public relations and corporate communications at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Sara works as a conference manager at Georgetown University.

Andrew is a 2003 graduate of Dallas High School. He graduated in 2008 from Washington State University in Pullman, Wash., with a Bachelor of Science in biology and in 2010 from Western Oregon University in Monmouth with a master’s in teaching. Andrew is pursuing a doctoral degree in education from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. He works as a research assistant for the Virginia Initiative for Science Teaching and Achievement at George Mason University.

The couple has a honeymoon scheduled in December in Cancun, Mexico. They make their home in Sterling, Va.
