Dallas Foursquare Church Harvest Bazaar

DALLAS - Fri., Nov. 1, 10 a.m. -4 p.m. at Dallas Foursquare Church, 976 SW Hayter St. Admission to the event is by canned food donation which will be brought to our local food bank. There will be many different vendors and tables. Proceeds will benefit The Salvation Army’s “Adopt a Family” program. Independence Riverview Winter Market

INDEPENDENCE – Nov. 1 through Dec. 20 at the Elks Lodge, 289 S. Main St. Saturdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We will be joining the IES Bazaar at the school, 150 S. 4th St. on Dec. 6. Polk County Extension Annual Holiday Fair

RICKREALL – Friday through Saturday, Nov. 7-8 at Polk County Fairgrounds, 520 S. Pacific Hwy (99 W). Hours are Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free (donations welcome). Features more than 120 exhibitors. Items include Christmas wreaths, ornaments, handmade toys, dolls, and crafts of all types, beaded jewelry, photography, emu products, scrapbooking supplies, and much more. Willamette Humane Society Thrift Store Holiday Bazaar

Pedee Annual Craft Fair

PEDEE - Saturday, Nov. 8 at Pedee’s Women’s Clubhouse and Pedee Fire Station, 12491 Kings Valley Highway. Hours at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free. Features their annual sale of hand dipped chocolates, handmade crafts and gift items, decorations, homemade baked goods. The homemade soup and pie luncheon is held in the clubhouse. 2014 Polk County Craft Festival

Farm Worker Holiday Wreaths Sales

POLK COUNTY - Wreath orders are being taken through Monday, December 1 for free Polk and Marion County delivery December 6-8. The handcrafted wreaths measure 25 inches in diameter and are made of noble fir, holly, pine cones and a red bow. Cost is $35. Wreaths are made by and will benefit MLP (Mujeres Luchadoras Progresistas / Women Fighting for Progress), a local farmworker women’s cooperative for family income and leadership development. West Valley Hospital 3rd Annual Holiday Home Decor Bazaar

DALLAS - Friday, Dec. 5 at 525 SE Washington St. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Features new and previously enjoyed holiday decor including tree trimmer, table top, doorway and small inside. No tree lights, no large indoor or outdoor decor. Donations of decor accepted Nov. 17 through Nov. 27. 100 % of proceeds benefit the WVH Volunteer Services Scholarship Fund providing scholarships to Polk County High School graduates pursuing a healthcare related field. Independence Elementary School’s Annual Holiday Craft Fair

INDEPENDENCE - Sat., Dec. 6 in the Independence Elementary School gym, 150 S. Fourth St. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free. Features, handmade crafts and gifts. Sons of Norway “Famous” Scandinavian Bake & Craft Sale

WEST SALEM - Sons of Norway will hold their "Famous" Scandinavian Bake & Craft Sale on Sat., Dec., 13, 10 am to 2 pm at the Salem Masonic Temple, 1625 Brush College Rd Salem, OR 97304. If you love Lefse come early or it will be gone, it will be made by our members loving hands as will thousands of other Norwegian goodies available for sale.
