Revis named Player of the Week

PORTLAND — The Great Northwest Athletic Conference named Western Oregon’s Paul Revis as the GNAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Revis, who shares the award with the South Dakota Mine’s Marcus Sanchez, caught four passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns against Simon Fraser on Saturday. His 902 receiving yards and nine receiving touchdowns leads the conference in both categories entering the week.

The redshirt freshman is averaging 205.1 all-purpose yards per game, ranking third in NCAA Division II.

Revis earned Special Teams Player of the Week on Sept. 8.

The Wolves travel to face GNAC-leading Azusa Pacific on Saturday at 6 p.m.
