Paul and Diane Telfer took Paul's mother, Martha Telfer, and Aunt Naomi Goodman, with them to Indio, Calif., in January, where they spent 2« weeks drying out and hiking through the desert and mountains in the area.
They love to hike and their goal was to log 50 miles, which they made by the last day.
They hiked every other day, then did other activities with Martha and Naomi the days between.

Pedee Church members have been getting together each week on Thursday nights at 7 for prayer and worship. The group welcome all in the community to join them in this nondenominational gathering.
On Sunday after church, they will have their annual meeting with the conference superintendent, Chris Neilson, followed by a potluck.
The men are still meeting each month to cut wood for any in the community who need it.
