WEST SALEM -- The Pentacle Theatre is hosting a benefit performance of "Over the River and Through the Woods" Wednesday, July 18, to raise money for the Marion-Polk Food Share.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with a catered social hour and silent auction.
Items available for auction include tickets to Oregon and Oregon State football games, a weekend at the coast and trips to Bend and Seattle.
Following the social hour and auction is the performance of the Joe DiPietro play about a New Jersey man preparing to take his dream job in Seattle -- but first he must get past his family's schemes to keep him in New Jersey.
Tickets to the benefit show are $35 and can be purchased online at www.pentacletheatre.org or by calling 503-581-3855, ext. 309.
The Pentacle Theatre is located at 324 52nd Ave. NW in West Salem off Highway 22.
