Daryll's Nursery marks 20 years
DALLAS -- Daryll's Nursery of Dallas is celebrating its 20th anniversary of business now through Aug. 31.
Located at 15770 W. Ellendale Road, Daryll's is a retail nursery that also offers landscape consultation, tree trimming and pruning services. Daryll's offers a wide assortment of unusual trees and shrubs, 100 varieties of ornamental grasses, and a selection of drought-tolerant and deer-resistant plants.
Owned by Daryll Combs, the nursery is open Mondays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Yeasty Beasty pizza parlor opens
MONMOUTH -- A new pizza parlor in downtown Monmouth at 167 Main St. W. held its soft opening on Thursday and Friday.
Yeasty Beasty, owned by Thomas Jones, feature whole pies and pizza-by-the-slice made on homemade, 100-percent organic dough and with yeasts that Jones cultivates and manages himself.
Salads, desserts and craft beers -- the latter also feature the restaurant's signature yeasts -- are also on the menu.
Yeasty Beasty is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
