Big week under way at FCHS

FALLS CITY -- It's homecoming week in Falls City, and there will be plenty of opportunity to show your support for the guys -- and girls -- in the purple and gold.

FALLS CITY -- It's homecoming week in Falls City, and there will be plenty of opportunity to show your support for the guys -- and girls -- in the purple and gold.

Pick a team and cheer at Thursday's Powder Puff football game, pitting Falls City and Kings Valley Charter School seniors and freshmen girls against the juniors and sophomores. The game will be at 7 p.m. at the high school football field. A bonfire will begin after the game.

Friday at 7 p.m. see the highlight of the week as the Mountaineers take on Jewell during the homecoming football game at Falls City High School. The game is the last regular season contest of the year and, as such, will be Senior Night as well.

The week's activities are capped by Saturday's homecoming dance at Kings Valley Charter School at 8 p.m.
