DALLAS -- The Polk County Inter-agency Narcotics Team (POINT) arrested two people in Dallas Thursday on unlawful marijuana possession, manufacture and delivery charges.

According to a press release, POINT responded to a location near the Dallas Safeway, 138 W. Ellendale Ave., where they arrested Jonathan Aguinaga, 31, of Monmouth and Brandy Stutheit, 25, of Albany each on a charge of unlawful delivery of marijuana.

The team later searched a property Aguinaga owns in the 7200 block of Kings Valley Highway, where investigators found nearly 12 pounds of marijuana packaged for sale and seized 20 full-size marijuana plants. The packaged marijuana has a potential street value of $23,000.

It was after the search that the charges of unlawful possession and manufacturing were added for both suspects.

Aguinaga and Stutheit are both Oregon Medical Marijuana Program card holders, but were outside their limits for plants and raw usable marijuana, according to officials.

They are being held in the Polk County Jail, Stutheit on $105,000 bail and Aguinaga on $80,000 bail.
