RICKREALL -- The Polk County Livestock Association will hold its annual meeting Jan. 19 in the Arts and Crafts Building at the Polk County Fairgrounds and Event Center.
The evening event starts at 6 p.m., with a buffet dinner served at 6:30 p.m.
The evening's speaker is Kay Tiesl, executive director of the Oregon Cattlemen's Association, with a focus on the legislative outlook for the coming session.
The presentation of the Livestock Family of the Year, report of association accomplishments, a short business meeting and election of officers will round out the evening.
Cost of dinner is $15 per person and the annual family dues of $13 are payable that evening. Those interested in attending should respond by Monday to Pat Letsch at 503-623-4956 or 503-507-9017.
The association conducts the market classes and auction at the Polk County Fair and sponsors livestock education programs in Polk County.
