Robotics teams set to scrimmage
DALLAS -- The Dallas High School robotics team and other area squads will host a scrimmage Saturday at the Masonic Lodge in Dallas.
The public is welcome to attend the event, which will feature as many as 15 teams from Dallas' competitive league.
This is the last informal scrimmage for the teams before the state-qualifying tournament on Feb. 9 and a good opportunity to learn about robotics programs, said team adviser and DHS science teacher Lee Jones.
Visitors are welcome to drop by between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The lodge is located at 140 SW Clay St., Dallas.
