MONMOUTH -- The "Women of Culture Celebration" at Western Oregon University continues Wednesday (today).
The event focuses on women of diverse cultures and the idea that there's beauty inside everybody.
Students and the general public are welcome to attend a display at the Werner University Center entitled "Walking through Cultural Awareness."
It will be followed by a poetry and spoken word performance by Ebony Stewart, a Texas-based artist and slam poet. The evening will conclude with "The Beauty Within Us Fashion Show."
The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Pacific Room of the Werner Center.
