MONMOUTH -- Powder puff football game? Paint the Wolf? Fundie run? It must be Homecoming Week at Western Oregon University.
The second annual Fundie Run kicks off this Monday at 6 p.m. from the Werner University Center Plaza.
Following the Fundie Run, renamed from last year's "undie run" where students race through campus in nothing but their intimates and donate their shed clothes to the Monmouth Food Bank, is the annual bonfire kickoff and rally featuring the football and cheer teams at 8 p.m. at the Q lot field.
New events for 2013 are WOU's Got Talent, a talent showcase, Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the WUC Pacific Room and Wolf-Out Wednesday, an evening full of games and music, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Grove.
This year's musical guests are international touring act Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Hood River-based Sunderland, Oct. 10 at 8:30 p.m. in the WUC Pacific Room. Tickets are $10 for WOU students, staff and faculty, and $15 for general admission.
The week's events culminate in the Oct. 12 football game against Humboldt State at 1 p.m. and the crowning of the 2013 homecoming queen.
