WOU fall preview day set Saturday
MONMOUTH — Western Oregon University will host a free fall preview day for prospective students Saturday from 8:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Werner University Center.
This is WOU's only Saturday campus visitation program scheduled during fall term.
Prospective students and their guests will meet WOU students, faculty and staff by participating in a variety of activities. High school seniors and transfer students can apply for fall term 2014 admission at check-in and receive notification of their status at the end of the program. Students can also request a total of three free tickets to the home football game that afternoon if they register online for the program.

Perrydale hosting college info night
PERRYDALE — Perrydale High School will host a college and financial aid information night Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the high school computer lab, 7445 Perrydale Road, Amity.
A group of volunteer parents, college representatives, community members and teachers with experience weaving through the college maze will be on hand to answer questions. Assistance will be offered on reviewing transcripts, comparing colleges, degrees and certificate programs, applying for college, registering for the SAT, applying for scholarships, and exploring military service.
Students are welcome to attend with parents. Refreshments will be provided. Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP at 503-623-2040.
