DALLAS — Michael Roger Pope, 41, has been indicted on two counts of fourth-degree assault, one felony and one misdemeanor, and one charge of harassment in an incident involving his wife, Chelsea Pope, the executive director of the Dallas Area Chamber of Commerce.
A Polk County grand jury issued the charges Dec. 18, said Polk County District Attorney Aaron Felton.
Pope, a Dallas resident who goes by Roger, was arraigned in Polk County Circuit Court on Thursday.
Pope was arrested Dec. 9 and originally charged with one count of felony fourth-degree assault following an incident that occurred Dec. 6, according to Dallas police reports.
Pope is scheduled for a pretrial conference in Polk County Circuit Court on Tuesday morning.
